About me.
In teaching at a private school without a special education program, I quickly witnessed the huge gaps in the education system for students with exceptionalities. From then on, I began working in fields of education dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and students with exceptionalities and other barriers to education. School and learning can be a difficult and frustrating time for everyone; as an educator, I want to make that experience more meaningful for every student I work with. That is why when I heard about LEARNstyle and began reading its mission statement – give every person the opportunity to succeed, I knew that this would be the place for me!
My Hero
My hero is Nancy Drew. She is clever, witty, and resourceful. Thanks to her, I am a puzzle master and love solving mysteries.
My Passion
My passion is making someone’s day a bit brighter, whether it be letting someone pass ahead at a stop sign, telling a joke to a student who is visibly distraught, or smiling at a stranger on the street.

My best memory was indoor skydiving for my birthday!

My favourite subject in school was gym! I loved pushing myself and being active!
Favourite Animal
My favourite animal is my cat.
Growing Up
I had good friends at school and at church, but at home, I would use my imagination to keep myself occupied! Outside of church or school, you would find me watching TV or walking to the mall or playing computer mystery games.
Graduation
My mom snapped this whilst I was sitting at my university graduation. As you can see by my smile, I was VERY happy!
Disney & Skulls
This was my first trip to Disney World. I was amazed by the size of this skull and needed to shove my head in it!
Hobby

More about me.
I grew up playing games – soccer, Mario, Nancy Drew, Tomb Raider, and many more! It is a pastime I share both with my family and also my husband. I have a huge competitive side and am eager to put my skills to the test whenever I can!
