For much of my career I have worked in the education system. I find joy in helping students work through challenges. The role of AT coach to bring me back to the roots of connecting and helping students learn academically. I was ready for a change in career, but knew that I would miss the students if I left education completely. LEARNstyle seemed to fit my beliefs and passion on how important connecting to students really is. I love to see the joy in student success and independence.
My Hero? My husband and my children! They challenge, respect and inspire me everyday. They love and live life to the fullest, each in their own way and are so different from one another. I envy all of them. They are my world.
Every day is a different day. I am passionate about many things, but family is what I live and breathe! I love to see our generational farming growth and success stories, I love to watch my children develop and change. They are always evolving. I love to see the strength and growth in my family!

My Happy Place
Hiking in the Forest or Kayaking on any lake/river
Growing up in a small town with my older siblings on a small hobby farm was something I would not change for the world. Those siblings have become
my best friends today, always enjoying the outdoors and adventures. My parents and family always had a ‘work hard, play hard’ attitude. I have so many great memories of family and friends.
I love to learn new things and take courses to help me with my personal growth. I think it is so important to keep challenging myself to become the best version of me.
Three of my best colleagues and I decided to try something we had never done before. A mud run marathon. One of the most empowering days of my life. Although this photo looks serious, there was definitely a lot of laughter as we attempted to reach the end goal. So much fun!
I love to kayak and hike. It is my absolute favourite time to find peace in the outdoors
during any season.
More about me.
As a child, being outside was always important to my family. This has never changed for me as an adult. I love to get outside, get some sunshine, and enjoy the 5 senses of the Forest! I hope to one day say that I have fully hiked the Bruce Trail! As well as hiking, I am at peace with nature on the water kayaking as well.
