Madeeha Madem

Reading Intervention Coach

About me.

My childhood consists of many colorful memories. Sometimes I look back at my past and remember how as a child I was always ready to help others in any way I could. Through role playing as a teacher, a doctor and nurse, I always wanted to bring a positive change in others.  As I grew older, I learned the power of education, how it impacted me and the people around me. I found that education was the epicenter of creating a positive impact in this world. I believe we all have a basic right to education. I want to be a resource to others by sharing my knowledge and skills that I have obtained growing up. I want to see others succeed and I take pride in that.

My Hero

I don’t have a specific person or character. However, I do have an imaginative character in my mind. It is an individual who always makes oneself better and has a positive outlook on life no matter what the hurdles are. This has always helped me if I ever felt down or struggled in my life. It is a voice which speaks of gratitude, appreciation and thankfulness.

Growing Up

I grew up in a big family.  I have many memories of all of us traveling. My grandparents lived in a small town filled with various little shops. I remember the streets were infused with sweet aromas coming from the bakery. Street vendors would have their own little carts with delicious foods and various clothing items. Children would run around the corner playing hopscotch and eating ice cream. These memories are still very vivid in my mind and it makes me happy whenever I think about them.

My Passion

My passion has always been helping others in every way I can. This was instilled in me by my parents and I think it is a great value to have.

Favourite Food

I am a foodie, I love Mediterranean, Italian, Greek and Pakistani Cuisine. If I had to pick one dish, it would be pasta.

Favourite Colour

My favorite color is Purple. Lavender to be more specific.

My Happy Place

My happy place is a place where there is only peace and comfort. My happy place would be an environment where there is nature around me. A cup of tea in my hand with my favorite person – my husband.

Creativity

Whenever I am inspired by an idea, I put my creativity on canvas and love to see the end product.

More about me.

My hobby is painting. I love doing mixed media. Here I made flower stems. The petals are made out of real onion skin and the stems are made of broken shattered glass and paints all over canvas.

Believe in yourself. It is never too late 🙂
