About me.
I have always been involved working with kids, from summer camp to skating lessons. During
my studies, I participated as an undergraduate student and a teaching assistant in a clinic for studentswith DCD. One placement involved working with a high school class to apply
assistive technology to their course work. I knew then that is what I wanted to do when I
graduated. While working as a School Health Occupational Therapist, I came across a
LEARNStyle technology coach sharing the same resource space. I went home that evening to
complete an application!
My Hero
My brother is my hero. He was identified with a learning disability early on in his school
career. He worked so hard to achieve his academic goals while pursuing his hobbies
and interests. I couldn’t be a prouder big sis!
My Passion
Coming from an Occupational Therapy background, I am passionate about ensuring students
are able to access and perform their daily occupation of school. With the use of technology,
students are able to support their individual needs to achieve success.

End of Season Carnival!
This is my favourite photo of my brother and me. We’re all set for the end-of-season
skating carnival. Something I looked forward to every spring.

Favourite Movie
A League of Their Own. “Batter up! Hear that call! The time has come for one and all to play ball…”
Favourite Colour
Do I have to choose one? I love rainbows. The full spectrum of colours makes me happy!
Favourite Subject in School
Physical Education and Kinesiology. I have always enjoyed being physically active and competing. Plus, the human body is so cool.
Growing Up
I was an extremely shy child growing up. I found sports to be my social outlet. I could interact
with others, but not necessarily have to talk to them. It wasn’t unusual to go from a school
sport to a community sport in the same evening.

Graduation
This is my graduation from my Master’s in Adapted Kinesiology. My supervisor offered
me this challenge for knowledge, which in turn provided me with the self-growth I
needed to move forward with my schooling and life

My Family!
This is my little family. They make me smile and laugh each day, and appreciate my own silly
side.

My Team
My favourite sport is Ultimate Frisbee. This is my team at the World Ultimate Championships in Ohio
More about me.
I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee since my first year of undergrad. This sport brought my husband and me together. It is also the sport that provided me with an opportunity to compete at a National and International level with my team, Crash
Changemakers
