About me.

When I was a young girl, I would gather all my stuffed animals in a row and pretend that I was the teacher. Fast forward, almost two decades later, and that dream has come true by becoming a teacher! I became a teacher because I wanted to have a lasting impact on the next generation by instilling a love of learning. I also got into teaching because I am very much a “people-person” who enjoys mentoring and caring for others. After a few years of working in the public school system and tutoring online, I came across LearnStyle. I am passionate about working at LearnStyle because of the highly professional training compiled with education tech, and the amazing staff and students. This professional learning community is extremely welcoming where we come together and share our love of learning!

My Hero

My hero is my fiancé because of his determination, ambition, and hard work. He has encouraged me to always strive to achieve my goals through perseverance and dedication.

I grew up as an only child, and I was very close with my parents, friends, and family dog.

Growing Up

Growing up I was a bubbly, happy child. I enjoyed school and loved to learn. Outside of school, I played piano and took swimming lessons, and eventually became a lifeguard.

I love to be outdoors and surrounded by nature! This is a picture from when I went hiking through Banff in July 2021! It was a fantastic trip to see Canada’s Rockies–highly recommended!
