About me.
I grew up surrounded by educators – I saw the impact they had every day on kids, the
community, and the people they worked with. Working with educators inspires me to learn
more, and to do more. It helps me understand my own children, and how I can best help them
become everything they are capable of. I joined LEARNstyle to find a way to help our
educators make sure every child has every tool they need to succeed.
My Hero
My dad – he taught me to be independent and resilient. He loved to travel and meet new people – he showed me how much you can learn by really listening to someone else for a while.
My Passion
I want to show my kids that you have to follow through on what you say – and that even small acts can make a difference.
Growing Up
I grew up in BC – really my favourite place. My parents were educators who when I was growing up had opportunities to also work in Europe!

My happy place is the lake – I love being on the water.

My favourite book is The Hobbit – I’ve read it almost every year since I found it when I was 11.

I love camping – try to get out as often as I can with my kids. Luckily, my kids still enjoy it!
