I started working in Education as an after school teacher and JK support teacher. Throughout my years working in school settings and taking on different positions I have had the chance to support, and learn from students with a wide variety of learning styles. I am passionate about introducing transformative practices in education. I love that, working for LEARNstyle I have the ability to introduce students to different ways they can show their strengths and talents in academics.
Mindy Kaling, I have really identified with her story and I have always admired her creativity and work ethic. I also admire her ability to find humor in any situation.
I am passionate about making a positive impact on students, empowering them to find their strengths and voice in education.

One Thing I Can’t Live Without
I could never live without my phone! I am constantly looking through social media, listening to podcasts, my Google calendar. My whole life is on there!
Favourite Subject in School
Despite my struggles with writing, my favourite subject was always English. I could read for hours, then discuss theories, plots and themes for just as long. Without assistive technology, I would have never discovered my love for literature.
We would spend our summers camping. I grew up swimming, skiing and playing volleyball. I did not have pets because I am allergic, but always wanted one.
Smiling big after receiving my Bachelor Degree from University.

In Living Colour
My favourite photograph I have taken to date. This was the outside of an ice cream shop in town.
Passing the time.
My favourite pastime is photography. I found a passion for it after taking a class in highschool and have been pursuing it as a hobby and meditative exercise ever since. I usually take photographs of things that happen organically. I also use it for an excuse to get out more into nature.
