I’m a Technology Coach working in UGDSB with a passion for improving the lives of my students. I became a Technology Coach because I wanted to make a difference in a meaningful way. When working with my students, my goal is to show them the respect and praise they deserve to unleash their utmost potential. The best part is seeing their confidence grow— inside and outside of the classroom—when they begin to explore the use of their technology on their own.
My hero is my dad because he always believed I was brilliant when I never did. He told me I could be anything I wanted, and he sincerely believed it.
My passion is teaching others the benefits of technology in a safe and useful way. I love to impart my knowledge, whether that be to a teacher looking for new ways to implement technology in their classroom or to a student trying to use their computer for the first time.
My Best Friend
My best friend was my loyal German shepherd.
My favourite movie is A Clockwork Orange because of the brilliant directing, acting, and exploration of autonomy.
My Favourite Halloween Costume
My favourite Halloween costume was Jackie Moon from Semi-Pro. The best part was freezing at a hockey game while wearing it.
3 Things I Would Bring to a Deserted Island
I would bring my dog, an axe, and a water filter. That’s all I need to survive.
Growing up, I loved to play sports. I spent most of my days outside playing hockey, basketball, soccer, golf—anything involving competition. At school, I couldn’t wait for gym and recess. I didn’t appreciate the importance of my education until I was much older.
I pretended to trip when I went on the stage to receive my degree.
Remember my Halloween costume? I told you it was a good one! “Everybody panic!
A View to Remember
One of the nicest views on the planet—#17 at The Rise.
More about me.
My favourite thing to do in my free time is golf. I absolutely love the challenge of the game. There’s always room to improve! I’ve been playing since I was a toddler, and for me, there’s no place I’d rather be than on the green of a nice golf course.
