About me.
My career began as a Recreation Therapist in a mental health unit in a hospital. I enjoyed facilitating programs to increase skills and eliminate barriers in community integration. Education, technology and working with youth have always been a passion of mine, which led me to this opportunity to work at Learnstyle. As a Technology Coach, I can help to increase students’ confidence by teaching them tools and strategies that will help them eliminate learning barriers as they navigate through their educational careers.
My Hero
My mother is my hero. She is one of the most patient, compassionate and strong women, who has so much love in her heart!
My Passion
I love building a strong rapport with my students and being able to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment!

Disney Magic
Apparently, my love for everything magical and Disney started here, and never went away (and I don’t think ever will).

Favourite Food
My favourite food, that I can’t go too long without eating, is sushi.
One Thing I Can’t Live Without
I like lists and being somewhat organized, so I can’t live without my day planner!
Best Memories
My best memories would be holding my nieces and nephews for the first time.
Growing Up
I was born in another province and moved here when I was 2 years old. I grew up in a Spanish speaking family. My childhood memories consist of dancing and eating in backyard birthday parties, playing hide and seek outside with friends and creating amazing imaginary worlds.

Graduation
I never made it to my graduation ceremony because I was roaming through the streets of a far away country, but I did get this picture taken (at least).

Fish Faces and Fun
Silly fish faces and silly dances. I say, never be afraid to be a little bit silly.

Picture Perfect
Taken right in the middle of busy area, this picture is one of many in my “law enforcement” collection.
More about me.
One of my passions in life is traveling and seeing different parts of the world. When I travel, I try to take a picture with law enforcement and do a “tough” pose, and most of the time they’re happy to pose with me! Some people collect postcards and souvenirs, I collect these pictures!
