About me.
As a young mom a career layoff presented the opportunity for me to stay home for several years with my kids. It was during
this time that I was regularly able to volunteer at my children’s school. I very quickly fell in love with this setting and decided to become a part of the education team! My passion for working with children continues. I am really excited to continue to share the amazing benefits of Corrective Reading, virtually, with a whole new group of students!

My Passion
I have many passions, professionally speaking I find great joy in helping students succeed to
the best of their abilities. It still chokes me up!
Early Beginnings
As the fourth of five kids, I spent lots of time playing outside with my siblings and neighbourhood friends.

Favourite Food
My absolute favourite food is baked potato.
Favourite Animal
My favourite animal is a dog. I still miss our first family dog, but we have since added our sweet rescue pup. Life just isn’t the same without a dog!
My Happy Place
My happy place would have to be walking in a heavily treed forest on a sunny day in the fall. It’s my favourite season by far.
Growing Up
I would describe myself as having been a quiet and at times, shy child. I’ve always loved creating things. Among my favourite was making new clothes for my dolls. As far as I can remember, I’ve always been a creative person. Creativity brings me great joy to this very day!
Hobby
In my free time I’m very passionate about interior design, even simple things like setting up a seasonal Thanksgiving table.
