About me.
I have always known from a young age that I wanted to work with kids so becoming a teacher was a no-brainer. However, it was when I worked at a non-profit organization for students with Learning Disabilities that I realized that Special Education was the area I wanted to continue my career. I was inspired by the impact that personalized and dedicated support can have on students, which can help shape not only their academic journey, but their entire lives. When we can equip learners with the tools they need to learn, the possibilities for success are endless. Working at LearnStyle provides the perfect opportunity for me to continue doing what I find most rewarding – supporting and guiding students to become independent, and self-motivated learners.
My Hero
|
My heroes are my parents. They left their home country (and their families) to bring us to Canada for a better life when I was 7 years old. Now being a parent myself, I have a new appreciation for the sacrifices they made and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity they gave me and my siblings. |
Street Food Festival
|
Can eating be considered a hobby? I hope so because I am a foodie and I just love to try food from all different types of cultures! I actually used to be a very picky eater as a kid, but after growing up in Canada and getting exposed to different types of cuisines, I learned to venture out of my culinary comfort zone. From exotic street food to spicy curries, every bite takes me on a journey around the world and I have learned to appreciate each culture for their unique tastes. It’s my favourite way to experience different cultures! |
